This captivating photograph by Whites Aviation captures a New Zealand National Airways Corporation (NAC) Vickers Viscount 700 soaring over Te Upoko o Te Ika a Maui Wellington City. 

NAC, the national domestic airline of Aotearoa New Zealand until 1978 (later merging with Air New Zealand), acquired this aircraft in 1958, making it the multiple  Vickers Viscount aircrafts in their fleet. Lady Isitt, wife of the NAC Board Chairman Sir Leonard Isitt, christened and named the aircraft "City of Wellington," upon its arrival.

Whites Aviation, produced a series of popular illustrated publications of aerial photography and aviation history.
