How much does shipping cost?

How long does it take for me to receive my order?

All of our frames and prints are locally made to order.

• Framed print orders dispatch within 10 business days

• Print only orders dispatch within 5 business days

Orders are shipped via tracked couriers. Standard service to non-rural areas is overnight in the North Island and 2 business days for the South Island.

Larger framed orders bound for Auckland may be delivered by our suppliers own vehicle to reduce risk of damage. You will receive an SMS message on the day we plan to deliver and you can respond to this message to provide a safe location to leave the package.

Public Holidays

We're continuing to process orders throughout the holiday season, but please be aware that shipping may be delayed due to holiday closures at our suppliers and within courier networks. We will notify you of any significant delays affecting your order.

What is your returns policy?

We will gladly replace your print or frame if it has been damaged in transit or there are any defects. Contact us with your order details including order number and attach any supporting images of the damage.

Our Quality Guarantee

We stand by our prints and frames. If you're not happy with your order we'll do everything we can to make it right. If you unpack your order and notice the print or frame are damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can correct the issue. We will request photos of damaged frames and packaging for us to figure out what went wrong and how best to fix it.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship within NZ through our checkout. But we are happy to give you a quote for international shipping if you're interested in a print. Contact us.

How big are your prints and frames?

Our prints are at their best when printed at large scale. Thats why we offer Large (L), X-Large (XL) and XL Duo sized prints and frames.

Are your frames solid wood?

Yes! Our frames are sustainably sourced through FSC and PEFC certified suppliers. Frames are made from solid wood, and handmade in New Zealand by our supplier with glazing to protect your print.

Do your frames have mat bevel-cut card borders?

No, currently all prints and framed prints include a white border within the print. If you're interested in a mat bevel-cut card border please contact us before purchasing.

What paper and printing do you use?

We use gallery-quality enhanced matte paper (230gsm) using archival pigment inks on the latest Epson printers.

How do i hang my frame or print?

• D-rings and cord will be pre-installed on your frame. Nails and instructions to help you hang your frame included.

• Print only purchases include no accessories for hanging.

Where are your photographs/prints sourced?

Our photographic prints are sourced from a variety of Archives in New Zealand. All print copyrights are held with the archives we source from and are commercially licensed or used in accordence with creative commons rules. Rest assured we will not use any imagery without proper authority from the copyright holder. Attributions for photographs can be found at the bottom of each product page and will be provided on a 6x4 card with your purchase. We recommend sticking this to the back of your frame for future provenance.‍

How much restoration do you do?

Archive photographs/negatives are scanned at high resolutions often revealing dirt, dust and scratches which have developed over the images lifespan. We respectfully restore each photograph to their original state by meticulously fixing these discrepancies while preserving the photographs historical character.
